Perkasie Borough Council is seeking a resident of the third ward interested in being considered for an immediate appointment to the Perkasie Borough Council to serve through December 31, 2025. If the appointed person wishes to complete the final two years of this Council term, they would be required to run in the 2025 election. To be eligible for appointment, an applicant must be a registered voter residing in the third ward. Applications will be accepted at Borough Hall until NOON on Monday, January 6, 2025. Applicant interviews will be conducted in public at the Perkasie Borough Council meeting January 6, 2025, which begins at 7:00 PM at the Borough Hall building. Perkasie Borough Council is expected to appoint a new Council member at the Borough Council meeting on January 20, 2025.
Appointment to the Borough Council is a unique opportunity for individuals to serve their community and be involved with the critical issues of Borough operations including subdivisions, budgeting and community and economic development.
