The Borough reserves the right to cancel or change any programs without sufficient registration. Programs and events are automatically cancelled for inclement weather or emergencies. Wild Skills Camp (ages 8-12)
Explore deeper outdoor skills, like animal tracking, camouflage, lost-proofing, useful plans, and shelter building. Survive, thrive, and play in the wild world!

THEATER & EDUCATIONAL FUN CAMPS
Sports Lab using LEGO Materials (ages 5-7)
Get ready to bring your favorite sports to life, from the basketball courts to the sandy beach, in an action-packed LEGO adventure! Spend the day with our fun and energetic Play-Well instructors as you team up to design awesome stadiums, build cool machines that mimic real sprots moves, and create exciting games that you can play solo or with friends. Together, you’ll use your creativity and teamwork skills to engineer, build, and compete, making every moment a blast!

Pro Sports Lab using LEGO Materials (ages 7-12)
Step into the world of sports engineering with our LEGO powered challenge! Guided by our energetic Play-Well instructors, students will collaborate to design and build advanced stadiums, engineer machines to replicate real sports movements, and develop innovative games. Throughout the course, teams will complete in fun, hands-on engineering challenges that test their creativity, problem-solving, and design skills will building teamwork and engineering confidence one brick at a time!

Creative Theater Camp (ages 6-10)
In our 16th season at Menlo Park! Have you ever wanted to star in a play that YOU helped create? Then this is the summer camp for you! Learn all about theater by doing it yourself! Participants are guided by the instructors through a process where they play theater games, create a story, and work together to form their ideas into a theatrical production. Students will create their own character, plot, props, costume, title, and everything else in between that is needed to make the production complete! Play the part you have always dreamed of! Parents, family, and friends please join us for a performance of their original work on the Friday of camp at 1:30 pm! Please provide a lunch, snack and drink daily.

Enhanced Theater: A Gilbert and Sullivan Mash-up (ages 11-18)
New for 2026! Creative Theatre meets the classics! We combine elements of Pirates of Penzance and HMS Pinafore, along with our Stage Swordplay class, and create a fun swashbuckling play. Featuring sword and quarterstaff work-it's Pirates vs. the British Navy! Parents, family, and friends please join us for a performance of their original work on the Friday of camp at 1:30 pm! SPORTS CAMPS
Archery Summer Camp (ages 6-17)
Get in touch with your inner warrior learning the family friendly, lifetime sport of ARCHERY! Connect with nature and our ancestors in what just may become the beginning of your child’s love for outdoor recreational adventures! This ½ day weeklong camp is geared for archer’s ages 6 to 17 with skill sets from beginner through advanced. Archers will not only learn range safety, shooting techniques and how to successfully hit targets but will also enjoy the following activities: Moving balloon targets, 3-D targets, making our own target faces & quivers, games such as defend our camp…. just to name a few! At the end of the week archers will shoot in a real tournament for score and each archer will receive a bronze, silver or gold medal! S.S.A.A. will provide certified archery instruction and state of the art archery equipment including traditional recurve bows and genesis compound bows!

Miniature Golf Workshop
Did you know that September 21st is officially known at Miniature Golf Day? Well, it is! Join Play-Well TEKnologies to celebrate this day early by creating your own LEGO golfer and designing epic miniature golf courses, while also learning about engineering concepts that make it all work.

Spooktacular Halloween Workshop
With Halloween just around the corner, it’s time to get out your decoration and get ready for trick-or-treaters! Build spooky ghosts and other moving decorations, learning about gear drives and other engineering concepts along the way. With tens of thousand of LEGO bricks, we know your Halloween display will be simply “gourd-geous”!

Engineering Workshop
Explore concepts in physics, mechanical engineering, structural engineering, and architecture while designing and building incredible LEGO creations! At Play-Well, we strive to build students’ problem-solving skills, foster a greater appreciation of how things work, and encourage the qualities of inquisitiveness, self-reliance, and self confidence in children. Projects for the workshop will be selected by the instructor based on the ages, experience levels, and interested of the children registered.

Thanksgiving Day Parade Workshop
Join us this Fall as we fashion our very own LEGO Thanksgiving Day Prade, inspired by the iconic event! Participants will design and build their own parade floats using LEGO while learning important engineering concepts and exploring their creativity along the way. This workshop wouldn’t be complete without a parade through our very own LEGO city so grab your spot along the parade route now!

Winter Wonderland LEGO Camp
In this 4-day camp during winter break we will apply engineering, architecture, creativity and fun to create a magical Winter Wonderland! Build motorized contraptions like snowmobiles, gondolas, or a hilltop village with slopes for LEGO skiers and sledders.
