Under the Stars Road Closures & Parking Restrictions

Perkasie Borough shares details regarding road closures and parking restrictions in advance of the 25th annual Under the Stars Car Show. This popular community event draws around 500 cars and thousands of visitors to Perkasie's town center. The show is scheduled for 5pm-9pm on Saturday August 17th. Parking restrictions and road closures begin at 1pm. 

NINTH STREET:

S 9^th St will be open to show car traffic ONLY from 12pm -5pm between the Covered Bridge Car Wash and Pine St.
The section of S. 9^th St between Pine St and W. Park Ave will ALSO be closed between 2:15pm and 5:00pm.
There is NO PARKING permitted on S. 9^th St from 12pm to 5pm, and access to Perkasie Park is limited. Emergency vehicle access will be maintained through the entirety of the event. 

 Show car traffic will use Park Avenue between S 9^th St and S 7^th St from 2:30pm-5pm; there will be periodic allowances for traffic on Park Avenue to pass during these hours.

 TOWN CENTER:

Restrictions on these roads between 2:30pm-5:00pm as follows:  

• Spruce St – LEFT TURN ONLY ONTO S. 7^TH ST
• Walnut St – LEFT TURN ONLY ONTO S. 7^TH ST
• S 4^th St – CLOSED between Spruce St and W Walnut St

 The following roads will be CLOSED to traffic between 2:00pm and 9:00pm and must be CLEARED OF ALL VEHICLES - NO PARKING AFTER 1:00PM on these roads:

• S 7^th from Chestnut St. to W Market St.
• N 7^th St from W Market St to Arch St.
• S 6^th from W Walnut St. to W Market St.
• N 6^th from W Market St. to Arch St.
• W Walnut St from Penn Alley (Historical Society) to entrance to municipal parking lot at S 7^th St (past Andy’s Shoe Store)
• W Chestnut St. from Penn Alley to S 7^th St
• W Market St. from 5^th to 8^th St.
• Arch St from N. 6^th St to N. 7^th St

  S. 7th St between Race St and W. Market St will be open to LOCAL TRAFFIC ONLY from 2:15pm until 9:00pm. Residents and local business traffic permitted.

 NO PARKING allowed in the following lots between 1:00pm-9::00pm:

• Shelly’s lot, 7^th & Market
• QNB lot, S 6^th St
• Train station lot, S 7^th St
• Penn Community Bank lot, W Market St

 ADA PARKING for this event is available in the gravel lot across from borough hall, on S 7^th St. ONLY vehicles displaying the correct license plate and hangtag will be permitted to access this area – access on S 7^th St.

 PUBLIC PARKING for this event is available at these locations:

1. Ken Smith Basses: lot is on 5th St between Race & Arch
2. Trinity Lutheran Church: lot is at the corner of S. 4th St & W. Chestnut St
3. Penn Community Bank 219 S 9th St (available after 5pm)
4. Pennridge South Middle School 5 & Cedar St, Perkasie, PA 18944
5. EFE Laboratories 700 W Park Ave. Perkasie, PA 18944
