Leaf Collection
UPDATE - 12/13/24:
The Public Works crews collected 7 loads of leaves this week, for a total of 107 loads for the season thus far. They will start in Zone 1 on Monday, December 16th, and next week will be the final week of leaf collection for this year.
**As a reminder, the last day for residents to place leaves curbside will be Sunday, December 15, 2024.**
Public Works crews will make one more final round of collection after this date, weather permitting. The final day for leaf pick-up will be December 20, 2024. Residents shall not place leaves out for collection after this date, as the Department needs to convert trucks for winter road maintenance, and leaves will cause a problem for snow removal.
Residents may take yard waste to the Borough’s Recycling Center at 311 S. 9th Street, where leaves can be dropped off after December 20th.
The Borough will run a leaf collection date in the spring of 2025, date TBA.
