Customer Owned Generation

In 2009, the Borough adopted specific technical and administrative requirements to accommodate Customer Owned Generation of electricity. These requirements were put in place to ensure the safe and reliable parallel operation of distributed generation resources.

These guidelines apply to all customer generation interconnected and operated in the Borough of Perkasie power delivery system. Please see the documents below for more information on installing such a system at your home or business.
