Perkasie Borough Police Department and Perkasie Borough Council invite members of the community to join us as we dedicate Perkasie’s Pine St as Hillias Way in memory of Perkasie’s late police chief Steven F. Hillias. A short dedication ceremony will take place at 2pm on Saturday May 21st will be followed by light refreshments. Local drivers and residents are alerted to temporary No Parking and road closures from 1:15pm – 3:00pm on the following sections:
- S. 9th St from the Penn Community Bank parking lot to Park Avenue
- Pine St from S. 8th St to Park Avenue

PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT:
Yard waste dropoff is from 7:00am-3:30pm on the first Saturday of each month. RESIDENTS ONLY, NO CONTRACTORS. Loose waste and paper bags only – NO PLASTIC BAGS.
Borough trash bags are available at Borough Hall, Landis and Giant locations in Souderton & Perkasie.
The Recycling Center is open to RESIDENTS of Perkasie Borough only.
Curbside brush chipping is scheduled for the first Wednesday of each month. Please call Borough Hall at 215-257-5065 before 4pm on the preceding Monday to add your address to the list.
Curbside paper & cardboard pickup is scheduled for the third Wednesday of each month. Please flatten and bundle materials. NO PLASTIC BAGS.
BULK COLLECTION: Public Works will pick up one large item each week as part of your regular trash collection service. PLEASE EMAIL PUBLICWORKS@PERKASIEBOROUGH.ORG IF YOU HAVE AN APPLIANCE THAT NEEDS TO BE PICKED UP. Note, we will not collect TVs, computer monitors or items containing Freon.
Annual TRASH BILLS will be due on 6/30/2022. The annual trash fee of $50 is payable by each residence in addition to the pay-as-you-go trash bag fees or the toter fees. Please call Borough Hall with any questions.
PARKS AND RECREATION:
Kulp Park Tennis Courts will be closed starting Monday, April 4th for renovation!
