Upper Bucks Celtic Fest | Saturday March 18th, 2023

Residents, businesses and visitors are alerted to parking restrictions and road closures on Saturday March 18th as the Upper Bucks Celtic Fest comes to town. These roads and lots will be CLOSED TO TRAFFIC between 9:00am and 5:00pm. NO PARKING on these roads starts at 8:30am:
*   W. Market St between S. 6th St and S. 8th St
*   S. 7th St between W. Chestnut St and W. Market St
*   W. Chestnut St between exit from Shelly’s lot and S. 7th St
*   Shelly’s lot is CLOSED
*   Penn Community Bank lot is CLOSED (access to drive through remains open til 12pm. Enter from S. 6th St)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Borough Council of the Borough of Perkasie, Bucks County, Pennsylvania, will conduct a public hearing on Monday, March 6, 2023, at 7:00 p.m. at the Perkasie Borough Hall, located at 620 West Chestnut Street, Perkasie, Pennsylvania 18944.  The purpose of the public hearing is to consider, and if appropriate, adopt an Ordinance which is summarized as follows:

The Ordinance would amend the Perkasie Borough Code of Ordinances by adding a new Chapter 183, identified as Abandoned Vehicles.  The provisions are as follows:  §183-1. Definitions; §183-2. Motor Vehicle Nuisances Prohibited; §183-3. Storage of Motor Vehicle Nuisances Permitted; §183-4. Inspection; Notice to Comply; §183-5. Authority to Remedy Noncompliance; §183-6.  Abandoned Vehicles; §183-7.  Hearing; §183-8. Violations and Penalties; §183-9. Remedies not Mutually Exclusive; §183-10. Severability.

The Ordinance would amend the provisions of Chapter 85 of the Perkasie Borough Code titled “Electric Service” being Ordinance 546, Enacted April 9, 1984, and as Amended.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Borough Council of the Borough of Perkasie, Bucks County, Pennsylvania, will conduct public hearings on Monday, October 17, 2022, at 7:00 p.m. at the Perkasie Borough Hall, located at 620 West Chestnut Street, Perkasie, Pennsylvania 18944.  The purpose of the public hearings is to consider, and if appropriate, adopt one of two Ordinances which are summarized as follows:

The following Ordinance would amend the provisions of the Perkasie Borough Zoning Ordinance, Chapter 186, Zoning, Article IV, Use Regulations and Restrictions, Section 186-14, Additional Sewer and Water Regulations, Subsection C, Use of Groundwater as Potable Water Prohibited by Extending the Restriction on the Construction of New Potable Water Wells throughout the Entire Borough of Perkasie:

Notice is hereby given that the Borough Council of the Borough of Perkasie, Bucks County, Pennsylvania, will conduct a public hearing on Monday, November 7, 2022, at 7:00 p.m. at the Perkasie Borough Hall, located at 620 West Chestnut Street, Perkasie, Pennsylvania 18944.  The purpose of the public hearing is to consider, and if appropriate, adopt an Ordinance which is summarized as follows:

The Ordinance would amend Chapter 180 of the Perkasie Borough Code of Ordinances to provide for the installation of a stop sign on Market Street in both the East and West directions at the intersection with Ninth Street, on North Eighth Street in the Southerly direction at the Island at North Ninth Street, and West Vine Street in the Westerly direction at the Island at North Ninth Street; to remove yield intersections at the intersection of Ninth Street in the Southerly direction at the intersection with Bridge Street, and on Vine Street in the Easterly direction at the intersection with Bridge Street; and to place stop signs on Market Street in both the East and West directions at the intersection with Ninth Street, on North Eighth Street in the Southerly direction at the Island at North Ninth Street, and West Vine Street in the Westerly direction at the Island at North Ninth Street.
