We are seeking local food producers who might be interested in a full or part season spot at our busy community market in the center of Perkasie. The market runs Saturdays from 9am – 12pm; the season opens on June 3 and runs for 22 weeks until October 29. *****There is also an opening for a lifeguard to work only at the Second Street Pool. Because of the shallow depth of that pool, a retired lifeguard is allowed at this facility. The Perkasie Borough Council will conduct public hearings on Monday, February 6, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. at the Perkasie Borough Municipal Building at 620 West Chestnut Street in Perkasie, Pennsylvania. The monthly public meeting of the Park and Recreation Board scheduled for January 4 has been cancelled. The next meeting will be February 1 at 7:00 p.m. at the Borough Hall.
At the public meeting on December 5, the Perkasie Borough Council adopted the 2017 Preliminary Budget. The budget is available to the public for review until the December 19 Council meeting with a final budget is scheduled for adoption.

The Borough of Perkasie is a member of American Municipal Power, Inc. (AMP). One of the membership benefits is participation in this yearly scholarship program. The attached flyer provides information about the Lloyd B. Wright Scholarship program. The deadline to submit your information to the Borough is Friday, December 9th. The Borough will select one candidate to submit to AMP. AMP will be awarding four of these scholarships, and students from all of their member municipalities are eligible.
