Tree Lighting Ceremony 2016

CHRISTMAS TREE LIGHTING CEREMONY – December 3rd, 2016 kid by treeNow in its 107th year, this is the oldest outdoor community tree lighting ceremony in the US. Thousands of families come out every year to see the Mayor of Perkasie read “T’was the Night Before Christmas” and to watch Santa ride over the hill on a Perkasie Firetruck before lighting our impressive tree. Local businesses get in on the act with costumed characters in shop windows. Residents and visitors from across the region love to pick up soup, hot cider or cookies and stroll the town while listening to live music. This event runs from 5:00pm – 8:00pm at 7th St. and Market St. in the center of Perkasie. VENDORS: We are not seeking vendors for this event. SPONSORS welcome.
