Earth Day / Pop Up Park

Perkasie Borough welcomes spring with a weekend full of environmental activities, centered on a large “Pop-Up Park” in the Shelly’s lot at the corner of Perkasie’s 7th St and Chestnut St. The park will open from 12pm – 8:30pm on Saturday April 22nd and is open all day until 5pm on Sunday April 23rd. Admission to the park is free.

The park is being designed and constructed by engineering firm, Gilmore & Associates, who are drawing on their experience with the Philadelphia Park(ing) Day program to create a beautiful oasis in an urban setting. The park’s theme, “Nature in Motion”, echoes the ideas of motion in music, melody and pitch, and is intended to illustrate the spring change of seasons.
