Zameen is the Urdu/Hindi and Farsi word for “earth,” “land,” or “ground.” Tasneem grows a range of veggies right here in Perkasie. You’ll find an exciting and different range of produce at her stall including fenugreek (methi), bitter melon (karela), bottle gourd (lauki), luffa (turai), and Indian broad beans (sem ki phalli), in addition to the more familiar farmers market veggies.
