Help Shape the Future of Menlo and Lenape Parks in Perkasie The Borough of Perkasie has begun an update of its master site plan for Menlo and Lenape Parks with partial funding from the PA Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR). Interested individuals and groups are invited to participate in a series of four public meetings to learn about the process of planning these parks and to provide their ideas for how the parks can be improved environmentally and for recreation. The parks were first established in 1892 and are currently home to the South Perkasie Covered Bridge, a structure listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and the treasured Perkasie Carousel. Please join the first public meeting of the Park Master Plan Committee on Tuesday, January 12th, 2016 from 7:30-8:30PM at Perkasie Borough Hall, 620 W. Chestnut St., Perkasie, PA 18944.
