The Perkasie Police Department are participating in No Shave November again this year. No Shave November encourages participants to put down their razor for 30 days as they raise awareness and funds for cancer research.
In 2015, the Police Department engaged in a good natured online contest and members of the public made donations to their favorite officer. They raised over $3,000 and Officer Brun, who raised the most funds, was treated to a luxury shave by Perkasie’s Styles Salon.
When you see bearded officers this November, please consider making a donation at www.no-shave.org. Collection boxes will also be stationed at Perkasie and Sellersville Borough Halls and the Perkasie Police Department building.
At the public Borough Council meeting on October 17, Perkasie Mayor John Hollenbach issued the following proclamation for No Shave November 2016: no-shave-november-proclamation
Please understand this hearing will only be in reference to the re-zoning and not any proposed construction or development.
A Planning Commission meeting is scheduled to be held on October 26, 2016 to discuss the I-3 Zoning District and re-zoning of the parcels. This meeting will be held at Borough Hall at 7:00 p.m.
