New Trash “Toter” Service to Start Sept. 6th

Over 500 residents have already opted to use the new wheeled cart service being offered by the Borough. The service, set to begin collection on Tuesday, September 6th, offers customers 64-gallon wheeled carts, commonly referred to as “Toters”, instead of the Borough’s “Pay-As-You-Throw” trash bag system.

Customers are welcome to continue using the bag service or can opt for the wheeled cart service. Delivery of the Toters will begin during the week of August 22nd. Customers may begin setting them at the curb for collection on Tuesday, September 6th. Due to the holiday, both Monday and Tuesday’s routes will be collected that day. An informational sheet will be available below, along with a sign-up sheet for those that would still like to switch.
