Corrected Contact Information for Road Work

The Borough retained a contractor to perform road work this summer.  Each year the contractor sends a letter to the residents who will be impacted with contact information.  Unfortunately, this year due to an error on the part of the contractor  the wrong contact number was placed in the letter to residents.

The correct contact information for any concerns is James Harris, at 215-493-4527.

Residents affected by the road work will receive a corrected letter of notification.   Thank you for your cooperation in maintaining the infrastructure of Perkasie Borough.

Herbicide Spraying Scheduled

The Borough of Perkasie has contracted with DBI Services to conduct an herbicide spray application,  along guiderails and concrete curbs in Perkasie Borough.

The application will take place beginning Friday July 8th and continuing Saturday July 9th. The application will take place in the overnight hours beginning at approximately 7:00 PM and ending at approximately 2:00 AM.  This project is weather dependent and may be postponed due to inclement weather.

DBI, Inc. will be using a herbicide containing Oust XP and Razor Pro.  Both of these are used in many local and Penn DOT approved applications.

If you would like to have your residence curb line removed from the spray application please call the Perkasie Borough Public Works Department at 215-257-6860 by June 30, 2016.  Please leave your name and address and your request to be removed from the application area.  Once that information is received and recorded, spray application will not take place along the curb line of your property.  If you are currently listed in the PA Dept. of Agriculture’s hypersensitive listing you are automatically excluded.
